- : JS> Congratulations!
-
- : This applies only if the configuration is finished successfully ;)
-
- You will, I'm sure of that....
-
- : But what about the "Monitor Specification" settings (min. time/pulse-H/V)?
-
- Hmmm, that's a tricky one. I called Idek for the actual values, but they
- said it's resolution-dependent, so there's no way to tell what you should
- fill in there. If you can't get the screen to full width, try lowering the
- H. mintime, same for height/V. time, that's all I know (from experience)
-
- : Should I always select the highest possible pixel clock?
-
- Maybe your monitor will display a small screen, and in 8 bit you get a
- software pointer (like Pc's) when you use 110Mhz or more
- In 16bit don't go above 100 Mhz and in 24 bit don't go above 50Mhz. It will
- make you system crash a lot... :-(
-
-
- : What is the purpose of Positive/Negative cycle gadget; yes, it's changing
- : polarity of the signal what what can I change with it?
-
- Not much, some monitors only recognize neg, or pos values. Most monitors
- accept both, so don't bother if it doesn't seem to do anything.
-
-
- : JS> To run some picasso-software on your cybervision, but don't count on
- : JS> it to work...
-
- : So if there is software which requires a picasso card, it's diverted via
- : this library to the CV64, correct ?
-
- That's what it's supposed to do, but I heard (didn't try myself) that it
- doesn't work always...
